Brand kit

One drop of color. Then get back to work.

A short, opinionated brand. Paper background, ink type, one violet-to-pink gradient — chosen so the product feels like the tool a crew foreman actually wants to open on the jobsite.

§01

Wordmark

Huey drop on the brand gradient, semibold Geist beside it.

§04

Voice & tone

How Runhue sounds in writing.

Direct

Painters don't have time. We say what something is, then get out of the way.

Confident

We have opinions about how to run a painting company. The product reflects them — and the voice does too.

Field-ready

It's still software for humans on a jobsite. "Take a photo" not "Upload media asset."

Specific

Talk about scope, deposits, walk-throughs, the crew, the homeowner — not generic "projects" and "users."

Do

  • Lead with one gradient moment per surface — usually the hero or the CTA.
  • Let Huey carry warmth. The mark is friendly so the type can stay sharp.
  • Keep paragraphs short. Painters read on phones in trucks.

Don’t

  • No second gradient. The violet→fuchsia→pink ramp is the brand — repeating it dilutes it.
  • No paint-roller clipart. Use Lucide outlines or Huey if you need a glyph.
  • No corporate jargon. "Synergize your pipeline" is not a thing we say.

§05

AI companion

Meet Huey — the painter ai companion.

Huey

Painter AI companion

Mascot · v1

Huey is the in-app companion that runs alongside every painter. Draft an estimate from a walk-through, write a follow-up to the homeowner, or build a marketing site — Huey speaks the trade, not generic SaaS jargon.

Knows the trade

Scope, deposits, walk-throughs, the crew, the homeowner. Huey talks like a foreman, not a project-management tool.

Drafts in voice

Estimates, follow-ups, marketing copy. Huey writes direct, crew-friendly prose — never marketing-deck speak.

One drop of color

Huey is the brand mark. Every reply carries the same warm, gradient-tipped personality.

§06

Favicons

Gradient tile with the Huey drop in white — visible at 16px.

§07

In use

The brand assembled.

Edition 01 · Sample

Quietly opinionated. Confidently understated.

Every screen, email, and invoice carries the same calm posture. White space is the headline. The gradient is the punctuation.
